Artist Linda Salvay

Linda Salvay’s fascination with fabrics and sewing began in her childhood, when she made doll clothes on her first sewing machine — a small, hand-operated Singer^®.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Clothing and Textiles from the University of Missouri, and has been incorporating her unique interpretations into wearable and functional fabric art for nearly three decades.

Each signed work of Judaic textile art by Linda Salvay is crafted of fine fabrics, employing the techniques of appliqué and embroidery. Attention to detail and construction ensures that each piece will bring joy to its owner for many years to come.
