indoor use). Each has a compartment for a klaf (parchment) in a
sealed glass tube.

Artistic interpretations enhance the
challah covers in assorted fabrics above, each bearing the
Hebrew inscription “Shabbat Shalom” (Sabbath
peace). Below, challah cover’s gold metallic embroidery
says “Lichvod Shabbat v’Yom Tov” (in honor of
Sabbath and holidays).
